Adam works with organisations on strategy, policy and public affairs. He is a former Whitehall mandarin, Ministerial adviser, Brussels diplomat, lobbyist, Finance Director and speech writer, with over 25 years working in government and public affairs.

During the 2008/9 financial crash and its aftermath he advised Ministers on bank lending and support for small firms. Prior to that he led UK and EU public affairs at Tesco PLC. For the last four years he has advised businesses of all sizes and sectors in the UK and globally on political risk and Brexit, as head of Grant Thornton’s Brexit and Political Risk Advisory services.

He set up Policy-Purpose Consulting in April 2020 to help leadership teams successfully navigate political and regulatory change during uncertain times.
