January Ambassadors Event
Join us at a brand-new venue, for us, in Berkhamsted at the lovely Old Town Hall. Take the opportunity to experience this lovely historic venue and of course enjoy breakfast and a chance to network with fellow Ambassadors.
Then we will look at the rise in the Film and TV industry in the area and what opportunities there are for our businesses – its not all about actors, directors or Masked Singers you know!
You only need to turn on the TV these days to see the amazing filming activity going on in our amazing Borough. From Ricky Gervais’ After Life Series 3 which hit our screens over the weekend to the Masked Singer & Dancing on Ice filmed at the ITV studios in Bovingdon.
Last year we saw Hemel’s Old High Street transported back to war time and eagle eyed viewers will also have spotted Hemel town (old and new) in an advert for a website development company – (Bonus points for those who can name it!) these are just a tiny percentage of the filming that has taken place around the Borough.
But this industry is not all about actors, directors and masked singers… How can your business benefit this industry stream?
We join our friends from Visit Herts and Dacorum Borough Council to talk about the Screen Tourism Development Programme and what this means for our Borough.
Before You Go – Lateral Flow!
With the current level of the new Covid variant, we would kindly ask you to take a lateral flow test no more than 24 hours prior to attending the event.
