Kings Langley School is an inclusive, mixed comprehensive school that became an Academy in 2012.
In 2015, Ofsted described behaviour and attitudes at the school as “outstanding” because of the school’s character education programme and the fact that students were taught “never to give up”. Academic achievement, which has risen steadily, places the school at the 21st percentile nationally and the Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan awarded the school the prize of Eastern Region Winners of the prestigious National Character Education Programme. The school is currently significantly oversubscribed and moves into a brand new school building on its current site in July 2016.
The school works tirelessly to build and improve links with all local business and industry and has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for several years. Governors at the school are one of only 36 schools nationally to have a kitemark of “excellence”.View All Ambassadors
