Queen’s Award for Enterprise Launch

Once again, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the launch of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, taking place virtually on Thursday 19th May 2022, from 11:00-12:00 noon. (for Ambassadors attending our event at Little Hay – we will stream this event)

The Chamber is hosting the launch of these Awards to promote their importance and encourage businesses within Hertfordshire to submit entries. We are delighted to bring you this event in partnership with the  Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are highly prestigious awards, given in recognition of outstanding achievement by UK businesses, across the following four categories:

  • Innovation
  • International Trade
  • Sustainable Development
  • Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility

Our speakers at this event include:

  • Mark Bretton, Chair, Hertfordshire LEP and Chair of the LEP Network, will discuss the role played by the Hertfordshire LEP in support of county-wide businesses.
  • HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE, CStJ will be joining us to emphasize the significance of these awards.
  • Sarah Minney, Social Media and Stakeholder Manager, and Will Arndt, Deputy Head at The Queen’s Awards Office, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) will explain how to enter these awards and provide some top tips for entrants.
  • We will also hear from past winners who will their entries and how winning one of these prestigious awards has benefitted their organisations:
