Kings Langley School Careers Fair

Ambassador Ruth George is a volunteer Enterprise Adviser at Kings Langley Secondary School (offering them support and advice on their careers strategy and activity in school), She is delighted to share with you that they are offering their Y10, Y11 and Sixth Form students the opportunity to attend an in-school Careers Fair on Wednesday 30th March.

The focus is to offer students information about the range of routes and possible opportunities available to them Post 16 and to show them that there is a positive future ahead.

We all know that young people have missed out on such a lot over the last two years and when it comes to careers support they haven’t had contact with external speakers, employer encounters, work shadowing, work experience and so much more.  Now is a chance to kick-start the invaluable careers support we usually provide, as well as giving them some reassurance and career options to consider once they leave school.

We would love to have a wide range of employers at the Careers Fair.  Start time is 1.30pm and finish time is 4.30pm which allows parents to join too after school finishes at 3.30pm.

If you’re keen to build links with local schools and help them provide valuable careers activities for their pupils then please get in touch with Jan Wright, the school’s Careers Lead via Email: wrightja@kls.herts.sch.uk or phone 01923 264504.
