Dacorum Community Trust is delighted to announce that it is one of three local charities competing for funds in the Tesco Community Grants Scheme this winter.

Every time you shop in a Tesco Store in Dacorum between 1^st October 2021 and 31^st December 2021, you have the opportunity to donate a blue tokens to the Trust – The charity with the most tokens at the end of the period wins a cash grant. This could mean to £1,500 for emergency supermarket and energy vouchers to support up to 50 local families in crisis.

Dacorum Community Trust is a last resort crisis charity providing practical help for local people when they have nowhere else to turn. In the last twelve months, the numbers of Dacorum residents seeking their help has almost doubled and they anticipate this need to increase with the removal of the fuel price cap and the onset of colder weather.

So, if you shop at Tesco, just remember, every time you put a blue token into the Dacorum Community Trust box, you will be helping some of our less fortunate neighbours in Dacorum this winter.
