With this year’s virtual English Tourism Week celebrations just around the corner, we wanted to take the opportunity to let you know how the Visit Herts team will be marking the occasion, and how you can get involved with their plans.
This year’s English Tourism Week will now be taking place next week (between 25th and 31st May 2020), with the campaign’s primary focus being to support the recovery of English tourism and raise awareness of the importance, quality and value of our sector. VisitEngland will be placing attention throughout the week on engagement with Government, MPs and other stakeholders both locally and nationally.
To tie in with VisitEngland’s engagement programme, Visit Herts will be using next week as an opportunity to celebrate our exciting and vibrant sector, showcasing the quality, range and value of tourism in our county across their digital outlets.
On Thursday 28th May, the Visit Herts team will be digging through their photo archives and sharing memories on social media of them out and about in Herts as part of VisitEngland’s #ThrowbackThursday activity, to help celebrate the places in our county that are special to us.
They would love to invite partners from across the Borough to join them on the day by sharing your own #ThrowbackThursday photos on your social channels. If you’d feel comfortable in doing so, we’d also welcome your photo submissions to be part of our own Instagram Story activity on the day… the older the photo, the better! Any images should be sent to email@example.com
