18th March 2020
Every year The Astley Cooper School give all their 700 students the chance to meet the very best employers from Hemel Hempstead at their Careers Fair. The lower school children use it to make more informed decisions about the subjects they will chose for their GCSE options. For the older students it’s about the choice between university and apprenticeships. The last two years have been a great success and with the help fellow HHBA members this year will be even better.
The event is held in the main school hall from 11.30am till 4.00pm on 18th March. Exhibitors will be provided with a table, a display board and a power supply too. Of course, you can bring your own branded display equipment if you have it. Each year group will be allocated a time slot to meet with the exhibitors. There’s a more relaxed session during the lunch period from 1.20pm until 2pm where the young people can get a second bite at the cherry once their interest in a company has been sparked.
It is the perfect opportunity for any company that is planning to recruit young workers over the next five years. If you want to start the process of building your next generation of staff, then contact Richard O’Brien on email@example.com for a booking form.
