A huge thank you to all of you who joined us at Nuffield Health on the 28th and indeed to Nuffield for hosting.
Nuffield started our discussion on Health & Wellbeing in the workplace, which focused on how it pays for a business to look after the health of its staff. OSD Healthcare added to that by discussing things we could all do to look after our mental and physical health. Please do let me have your feedback as to what changes you have made or plans you have put in place.
Gill Worgan presented on the Skillmakers programme, in the most powerful way, by introducing you to the students who are benefiting from industry work experience and training. Personally, I thought that your reaction to these young people was brilliant – the staff from West Herts have commented how pleased they were with your reaction and how many of you wanted to get involved. HHBA are committed to Skillmakers, not just getting you involved, but also involving the students in our work as well.
Richard Boyle from Henkel presented on the work that the company is doing in order to help the environment. He suggested a sub group where we could all share ideas on how to benefit the environment. We are working on a firm plan, but please let me know if you want to be involved.
Thank you to Edmund Cartwright from Haines Watts for his image, borrowed from is LinkedIn post.
