The Dacorum Community Trust is delighted to open entries for its annual Drive & Dine event to be held on Sunday 29 September. Originally targeted at classic and vintage vehicles the run welcomes entries from all car enthusiasts “if you love it and love to drive it – you are welcome.”
Starting at the Marchmont Arms in Piccotts End, the entrants will enjoy a scenic run through the Dacorum Countryside before arriving at Aubrey Park Hotel for a delicious Sunday lunch.
The Dacorum Community Trust has recently joined Hemel Hempstead Business Ambassadors, and this year’s event will be supported by another recent addition to the Ambassadors, NFU Mutual.
We are delighted to welcome NFU as a sponsor of our event,” said Trust Manager, Lydia Flack. “their vital support will help us raise even more funds to help people in need in our community.”
The Dacorum Community Trust is an independent local charity established in 1976, it is dedicated to helping local people in need. The Trust is there to help in a moment of crisis and offer hope at the darkest times. Many of the clients are struggling due to loss of employment, domestic abuse, homelessness or other difficult circumstances. They manage and distribute money raised through fundraising and donations from individuals, companies and organisations.
The Drive & Dine route will take participants through the best of Dacorum’s driving roads, so teams can enjoy hidden gems of our beautiful Borough.
