Resurfacing local roads this February
The roads you live on are at the centre of your community, and Hertfordshire County Council know they’re important to you.
While it’s important that they prioritise their highways budget to look after major arterial routes, the state of local roads is important too.
That’s why they’re investing an extra £29 million between 2018 and 2022 to improve local roads.
The new programme of works continues in February and could be coming to a road near you. This month, Hertfordshire County Council are planning to resurface these roads in Dacorum:
Goddards Close, Little Berkhamsted
Micklefield, Hemel Hempstead
Hillary Road, Hemel Hempstead
Ribblesdale, Hemel Hempstead
Tollpit Lane, Hemel Hempstead
While they can’t work on every road, this extra investment, along with the regular maintenance the County Council undertake, will make a real difference to roads across the county.
You can see the full list of the roads getting treatment under the new scheme in 2018/19 at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/localroads
