Enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility with Mediation Hertfordshire

Hemel Hempstead Business Ambassador Mediation Hertfordshire have a lot to celebrate.

This year they celebrate 20 years of resolving conflict and re-building relationships in Hertfordshire. This milestone 20th anniversary celebration became a double celebration when it was announced that they had been honoured with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for Volunteer Groups.

Looking ahead and moving forward on this success, Mediation Hertfordshire are now looking to partner with local businesses to provide conflict resolution training to school pupils in Dacorum primary and secondary Schools. This initiative will deal with issues arising from social media and bullying and support the mental health and wellbeing of young people locally as well as fostering cohesive school communities.

In order to be able to provide this training to Dacorum schools on a no cost/ minimal cost basis, Mediation Hertfordshire are looking for support from local businesses. £950 will support the delivery of the programme to one local school and Mediation Hertfordshire are hoping to provide this support to ten schools over the next 6 months.  In return Mediation Hertfordshire will acknowledge your support on their website, on programme materials and with local media.  As a supporter you will also be invited to the Mediation Hertfordshire AGM on 26th September where Mediation Hertfordshire will be presented with The Queen’s Award by Lady Verulam.  If you are looking to boost your corporate social responsibility programmes and get more involved with community initiatives this is a great opportunity.
