This year Hemel Hempstead Business Ambassador Brasier Freeth turns 10 and as they hit this milestone, it’s a great time to look back through some of their history.
In 2008 Brasier Freeth LLP was born out of a merger between Brasier Harris and Freeth Melhuish which were both well respected and established commercial property practices in the Northern Home Counties. The merger increased the range of services offered to clients and strengthened the team, the successful union of the two firms enabled the company to broaden its geographical coverage.
In 2017, they were awarded Hertfordshire’s Most Active Agent by Estates Gazette for the 10th consecutive year and in 2016, the firm won Property Managers Association ‘Retail Consultant of the Year’ for the second consecutive year. The firm regularly achieves high rankings in the league tables for agency activity across the south east of England, often achieving higher rankings than substantial multi-national agencies.
At the end of 2015, the firm opened an office in London which was in addition to the other three offices located in Watford, Welwyn Garden City and Hemel Hempstead. The company operates both regionally and nationally with services including Business Space, Retail Agency, Property Management, Building Surveying, Lease Advisory and Valuations.
In the past few years a new Shopping Centre Leasing Team has been formed within the firm and they now have a growing portfolio of seven centres including Bargate Quarter in Southampton, Barons Quay in Northwich, Harvey Centre in Harlow, Eastgate in Basildon, London City Shopping, Queens Arcade in Cardiff and The Marlowes in Hemel Hempstead.
