In 2015 Business Ambassador Novo UK shortlisted for the category of “Employer of the Year” at the Hertfordshire Business Awards, following 4 years of steady growth from their inception in 2011.
This award acknowledged the efforts they had taken in ensuring their staff were well looked after and the recognition Novo UK employees received for helping the business achieve its objectives.
At this stage of the business Novo UK were really only just taking their first fledgling steps in to becoming an employer of choice in the local area but had firmly set the foundations in terms of effectively recruiting in the right way, employee engagement strategy, benefits and staff wellbeing, staff development, training needs and overall performance.
Fast forward 2 years and Novo UK is a very different place to what it was just 2 short years ago. Their workforce now sits at 25, they now sit in a beautiful custom built office space and many of those initial foundations have been built upon (and continue to evolve) to create a unique and first class working environment in the centre of Hemel Hempstead.
As a result, this year they have been shortlisted once more at the Hertfordshire Business Awards – this time in the category of Medium Business of the Year (turnover from £2m-&15m) which focuses around the growth, ambition and quality of management that has helped to deliver on their business strategy. We will find out if we have been successful at the annual awards ceremony on the evening of 23rd November 2017.
So what’s next? 2018 will see Novo rebrand and relaunch a new website in line with their core business message and their constant endeavours to change the perception of how recruitment is conducted and perceived. Business growth is on the agenda and once again they will be looking to hire a combination of experienced and inexperienced individuals in to the business from the local areas.
